Digital Workplace Specialist – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical and career advancement of professionals within the field.

• Act as a mentor and a technical reference point for architects and emerging professionals.

• Detect skill gaps and design development and training initiatives.

• Foster certifications, technical advancement, and knowledge sharing.

• Play a role in the retention and career advancement of talent within the field.

• Define, refine, and distribute architectural standards, frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

• Ensure uniformity and high quality in the architectural solutions produced.

• Facilitate technical discussions and support architectural decision-making.

• Establish and uphold reference architectures, standards, and Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).

• Advocate for best practices in security, scalability, resilience, observability, and sustainability.

• Organize and lead the activities of the Architecture Center of Excellence (COE).

• Ensure the team's skills are current and that it has sufficient capacity.

• Develop and oversee the discipline’s technical roadmap.

• Identify trends and emerging technologies pertinent to the business.

• Assist in the evolution and adoption of SAI App 3.0.

• Support assessments of professionals’ capacity and availability.

• Contribute to the suitable allocation and technical sizing of teams.

• Collaborate with Client Face to determine account needs.

• Provide technical support in the development and pricing of proposals.

• Estimate effort, seniority requirements, and team composition.

• Facilitate technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.

• Contribute to architectural solutions that balance technical and business requirements, costs, and feasibility.

• Serve as both a technical and people leader within the Architecture discipline.

• Enhance architecture governance and standards.

• Aid in the appropriate allocation of professionals in collaboration with Client Face.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture and Software Architecture.

• Familiarity with Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), APIs, and systems integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Capability to design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions.

• Experience with architecture governance, Reference Architectures, and ADRs.

• Understanding of legacy systems modernization.

• Proven experience in leading, developing, and mentoring technical professionals and teams.

• Ability to establish standards, guide technical decisions, and lead governance initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and Client Faces at various levels.

• Demonstrated experience in pricing and developing technical proposals, including estimating effort, seniority requirements, and team composition.

• Experience in applying AI to Architecture, including evaluating technical trade-offs; AI/GenAI solutions; RAG; AI agents; integration with AI models; and the security, scalability, and governance of AI solutions.

• Proficient in advanced English or Spanish, capable of working in professional environments and participating in technical discussions.

• Preferred: Architecture and cloud certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Preferred: Experience in Data Architecture.

• Preferred: Experience in presales, consulting, or customer-facing Solution Architecture.

• Preferred: Experience in digital transformation and technology modernization environments.

• Preferred: Knowledge of FinOps, DevSecOps, and observability.
