Digital Transformation Programme Manager – Collaborative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the discovery, options evaluation, and business case development phases of a significant transformation initiative for Kent Police and Essex Police.

• Assist in shaping the future management of personnel, finance, procurement, payroll, contracts, and corporate services.

• Define the programme’s vision, scope, budget, risks, and expected benefits.

• Collaborate with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and an external delivery partner.

• Integrate business, operational, commercial, and technical viewpoints.

• Facilitate informed decision-making at the Chief Officer level.

• Contribute to investment decisions impacting over 13,500 officers, staff, volunteers, and partners.

• Travel across Kent and Essex to engage with stakeholders.

• Meet with delivery partners or suppliers to construct the business case.

• Potentially participate in reference site visits during the research and procurement phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading organizational change, transformation initiatives, or intricate programs, with a capacity to assume a senior program leadership role.

• Background in developing options, recommendations, or business cases to facilitate organizational investment and decision-making.

• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and governance bodies, providing clear guidance, assurance, and constructive feedback.

• Strong comprehension of complex dependencies, risks, and cross-organizational effects.

• Ability to unify business, operational, and technical viewpoints and translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Endorsement from line management.

• All positions necessitate vetting and security clearance.

• If not a UK citizen, must be a UK resident with continuous residency in the UK for the past three years, holding indefinite leave to remain with no restrictions.

• If a UK citizen, must have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years, excluding those serving abroad in the British Armed Forces.

• Desirable: experience with ERP, core business systems, or large corporate platforms within complex organizations.

• Desirable: experience in supporting or leading large-scale procurement activities and managing delivery partners or suppliers.

• Desirable: experience in public sector or policing settings.

• Desirable: familiarity with structured business case methodologies, such as the Five Case Model.
