Digital Solutions Business Analyst – PMIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain a deep understanding of both current and emerging technologies, including analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

• Work closely with senior team members and client stakeholders to pinpoint challenges, opportunities, and business requirements concerning program execution.

• Identify and document existing business processes, essential performance metrics, and program/project specifications.

• Create digital transformation roadmaps and change management strategies that align with client business goals.

• Assess business processes, systems, and technologies that facilitate program delivery and establish enhancement needs.

• Apply critical thinking, data analytics, and business analysis methodologies to suggest process enhancements.

• Convert requirements into system configurations, software workflows, business rules, data dictionaries, use cases, reports, dashboards, and other relevant artifacts.

• Engage in discovery, design, testing, implementation, training, and rollout phases during software deployment.

• Assist in solution design, configuration, and validation in collaboration with APgMT technical teams.

• Create user guides, training resources, user acceptance testing plans, and supplementary documentation.

• Provide digital solutions across PMIS, Asset Management, BIM, GIS, Communications, Finance, and various other functional domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience or education.

• Over 4 years of experience in supporting, implementing, administering, or analyzing PMIS within capital improvement programs, construction projects, or project control settings.

• Background in implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting commercial PMIS platforms such as Kahua, Trimble e-Builder, Procore, Oracle Primavera Unifier, or similar solutions.

• Established expertise in capital improvement program management and construction contract administration.

• Proficient in MS Office, including Visio and MS Project.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% may be necessary.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all organizational levels, including senior management and executives.

• Skilled in facilitating requirements-gathering sessions and accurately documenting business processes.

• Capable of understanding client requirements and translating them into software business specifications.

• Exceptional organizational, time management, and presentation abilities.

• High technical aptitude.

• Ability to work autonomously and lead dynamic, collaborative team settings.

• Proven problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with generative AI tools, workflow automation platforms, or advanced analytics technologies.

• Practical experience in design/build construction delivery.

• Understanding of project management accounting and financial reporting.

• Experience in analyzing and drafting business and system requirement documents.

• Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.

• Business Analysis Certification (CBPA, PMI-PBA, etc.) is preferred.
