This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create and implement territory strategies to enhance awareness, adoption, usage, and growth of Intuitive's digital offerings.
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets for sales, adoption, and usage.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities while overseeing all phases of the sales process.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects within current and potential accounts.
• Engage with surgeons, hospital leadership, clinical teams, and administrators to comprehend needs and align digital solutions with clinical and operational objectives.
• Act as a trusted consultant and primary digital-solutions resource for clients within designated accounts.
• Partner with Key Account Managers, Clinical Territory Associates, Capital Sales teams, and Digital Networking teams to formulate account strategies and explore digital sales opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments, including Marketing, Product Management, Clinical, Engineering, and Operations.
• Promote product usage through customer education, onboarding, and training initiatives.
• Ensure that surgeons are adequately trained and equipped to access and utilize digital solutions.
• Foster relationships with surgeon thought leaders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to enhance awareness and advocacy.
• Assist with regional and national marketing efforts, trade shows, customer events, and educational programs.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in the medical industry.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions effectively.
• Proficient in communicating and presenting ideas clearly to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting, with occasional in-person sales activities.
• Proficient in navigating complex sales situations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including some short-notice trips.
• Ability to access surgical and other patient care areas.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of HL7, PACS, DICOM, and EPIC interfaces is preferred.
• Experience in hospital operating room settings is preferred.
• Experience in training physicians is preferred.
• Current proof of vaccination against specific diseases, including COVID-19, may be necessary.
• Subject to relevant U.S. export-control regulations, which may include export-license or Technology Control Plan requirements.
