This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Implement current and future digital initiatives.
• Promote digital products to targeted clients and enhance the adoption of Intuitive's digital offerings.
• Educate surgeons on how to access and utilize the technology.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients.
• Gather surgeon feedback and ensure ease of use through training sessions.
• Collaborate across departments to identify customers, enhance product usage, and provide support for both new and existing accounts.
• Consult with clients to understand their requirements.
• Foster adoption and usage through targeted outreach, customer support, consultations, and training.
• Grow the digital user base by collaborating with surgeon thought leaders and key clients to build a qualified lead pipeline.
• Work closely with Key Account, Clinical, Capital, Sales, Marketing, and Digital Networking teams.
• Engage potential clients through video conferences, emails, and in-person meetings as appropriate.
• Assist in regional and virtual market development events, trade shows, and industry activities.
• Develop key opinion leaders for the digital product range.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales and adoption targets.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to organize activities, manage the sales pipeline, and report on territory progress.
• Handle administrative tasks, reporting, support activity outcomes, and expense documentation.
• Aid in product demonstrations and attend surgical cases as necessary.
• Manage a substantial pipeline and territory of surgical targets.
• Become a subject matter expert and adapt to new features and innovations.
• Enhance internal team processes and strategies.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to engineering for product enhancement.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a business development role within the medical sector.
• Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to influence clients and leadership through phone and video communications.
• Capability to clearly communicate and present ideas to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders, including surgeons, nurse managers, and hospital C-suite leaders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated approach to achieving project and team objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with occasional in-person sales activities.
• Proficient in navigating complex sales situations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of HL7, PACS, DICOM, and EPIC interfaces is preferred.
• Experience in hospital operating room settings is preferred.
• Experience in training physicians is preferred.
