This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish the product strategy and roadmap, influencing trade-offs and sequencing to achieve business objectives.
• Convert customer, clinical, and market insights into clearly defined product requirements, ensuring validation before development begins.
• Oversee the backlog and requirements for the product domain, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams through agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Manage coordination across platform, data, and partner integration workstreams.
• Assist in release management, encompassing readiness, documentation, and cross-functional launch coordination.
• Equip commercial and customer success teams with resources, demonstrations, and product knowledge for effective positioning, go-to-market materials, and adoption.
• Monitor adoption and product performance metrics to guide iteration and ongoing enhancements.
• Ensure that solutions meet standards for quality, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI within a regulated healthcare landscape.
• Develop software products for hospitals, clinicians, and patients that provide a cohesive peri-operative experience.
• Broaden the reach of Polyphonic Surgery across new markets and healthcare systems.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management or a closely related role in software products.
• Familiarity with video, sensor, EHR-linked, or other clinical/procedural data sources.
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled product functionalities and ecosystem products that incorporate third-party solutions.
• Proven ability to convert customer and business needs into explicit product requirements.
• Experience in agile development settings, including backlog management and release execution.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally).
• An advanced degree is preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
• Preferred experience with healthcare, medical devices, digital surgery, or other regulated software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across technical, clinical, business, and commercial teams.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguous, rapidly changing environments where product strategy and execution evolve simultaneously.
