This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Establish the product strategy and roadmap, assisting in making trade-offs and sequencing to achieve business objectives.
β’ Convert inputs from customers, clinical settings, and the market into clearly defined product requirements and validate them prior to development commitment.
β’ Oversee the backlog and requirements for the product area, which includes user stories, acceptance criteria, and metrics for success.
β’ Collaborate with engineering and design teams through agile ceremonies to ensure features are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards.
β’ Coordinate efforts across platform, data, and partner-integration workstreams.
β’ Assist in release management, including readiness assessments, documentation, and cross-functional launch coordination.
β’ Equip commercial and customer success teams with materials, demonstrations, and product knowledge for effective positioning, go-to-market strategies, and adoption initiatives.
β’ Monitor adoption rates and product performance metrics to guide iteration and ongoing improvement.
β’ Ensure that solutions emphasize quality, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI within a regulated healthcare framework.
β’ Create digital surgery software products for hospitals, clinicians, and patients as part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech's Polyphonic team.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ An advanced degree is preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Health Informatics, or a similar discipline.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a closely related role in software products is essential.
β’ Preferred experience in healthcare, medical devices, digital surgery, or other regulated software products.
β’ Familiarity with video, sensor, EHR-linked, or other clinical/procedural data sources is advantageous.
β’ Experience with AI/ML-enabled product capabilities and ecosystem products that incorporate third-party solutions.
β’ Proven ability to convert customer and business needs into clear product requirements.
β’ Experience in agile development settings, including backlog management and release delivery.
β’ Understanding of healthcare data, privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across technical, clinical, business, and commercial teams.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β’ Comfort in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments where product strategy and execution evolve simultaneously.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally).
