This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +4 more countries.
• Take charge of social media and paid advertising for a debate and speech education organization catering to students throughout Greater China and Southeast Asia.
• Create and implement a content strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Evaluate current social media channels and formulate a growth strategy aimed at increasing inquiries and engagement.
• Generate innovative content ideas targeting parents and students in identified markets.
• Oversee content production by gathering footage, photographs, testimonials, and program updates from coaches, staff, and students.
• Manage the content calendar and schedule posts during peak engagement times in Hong Kong Time.
• Design static graphics using Canva for advertisements, carousels, stories, and promotional materials.
• Brief and collaborate with the in-house video editing team.
• Work alongside the in-house graphic designer on intricate branding assets.
• Plan, launch, and enhance paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Monitor engagement, respond to direct messages and comments during key hours, and track weekly analytics.
• Craft marketing copy that translates educational value propositions for target families.
• Coordinate with marketing and post-production teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Engage in daily asynchronous check-ins and weekly strategy meetings.
• Establish repeatable workflows and systems that minimize manual oversight.
• Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing from start to finish, with a portfolio or case studies that showcase identified gaps, solutions implemented, and measurable outcomes with minimal guidance.
• In-depth knowledge of the education markets in Greater China and Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mainland China.
• Proven success in running paid campaigns and enhancing organic engagement on Facebook and Instagram directed at Asian education audiences.
• Experience in collaborating with subject matter experts to extract relevant content.
• Strong proficiency in Canva for independently producing polished, on-brand static graphics.
• Inquiry-driven mindset focused on conversion metrics.
• Excellent written English skills, with the ability to tailor tone for students and parents in target markets.
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly regarded.
• Background in education, tutoring, enrichment, or service-oriented industries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with WeChat, Rednote (Xiaohongshu), or other regional platforms is a plus.
• Experience with CRM integration and lead tracking in Asian markets is beneficial.
• Existing network or community connections within Hong Kong, China, or Singapore's education sectors is advantageous.
• An updated resume.
• A portfolio link or case studies that demonstrate owned digital marketing work, including paid campaigns, content strategy, or social growth results.
• A brief Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, outlining your experience marketing to Asian education audiences, and presenting one end-to-end campaign or content initiative along with its results.
• Candidates must provide both a portfolio and Loom video to advance in the hiring process.
• Compensation in USD, paid bi-monthly (on the 15th and 30th).
