Digital Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Expand the engaged audience and CRM database through both organic and paid channels.

• Assist in increasing event registrations and in-person attendance via digital marketing strategies, including tracking and reporting on engagement and attendance.

• Oversee the frequency and distribution of digital marketing campaigns.

• Segment audiences based on behavioral and firmographic data.

• Assess campaign performance and analyze results to optimize and convert leads into loyal customers, audience members, and event participants.

• Create and test web content, advertisements, email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action (CTAs).

• Manage the HubSpot database, encompassing contact management, validation, lists, and workflows.

• Identify opportunities to enhance and support the organization's application of HubSpot.

• Revise and optimize website content in accordance with SEO best practices.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across marketing initiatives.

• Report directly to the Digital Marketing Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in digital advertising, web analytics, email marketing, and SEO, including data analysis and reporting.

• Experience in crafting copy for web, email, and/or digital advertisements.

• Familiarity with event marketing and attendee communications.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Experience with HubSpot CRM or other CRM systems (preferred).

• Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, SEMrush (preferred).

• Background in federal government, IT, media, or related industries is an advantage.
