This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage website pages and microsites utilizing a custom content management system.
• Implement cognitive load management along with digital accessibility standards.
• Create concise content derived from existing long-form NCDB products.
• Act as the strategic lead for NCDB's social media platforms.
• Conduct video editing for social media, instructional, and training materials.
• Oversee and coordinate the technological aspects of NCDB webinars.
• Engage in communication with accommodation companies.
• Offer user support and education related to the NCDB website.
• Write, edit, and proofread various documents and messages.
• Manage user registration, troubleshoot issues, and provide LMS support for learning modules.
• Handle Google Workspace, Zoom, Freedcamp, and Mailchimp management.
• Assist staff in utilizing technology tools effectively.
• Ensure that webpages, documents, presentation slides, images/videos, and online meetings comply with WCAG standards.
• Collaborate virtually with the NCDB Information Services and Technology Team.
• Adhere to information services and product development procedures while contributing ideas for improvement.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or NCDB Director.
• Expertise in video editing for a variety of applications, such as social media reels, professional development content, and instructional materials.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business, nonprofit, or organization, focusing on content strategy, audience engagement, and quality control of published materials.
• Capacity to write clearly and succinctly across different short-form formats, tailoring tone and complexity for diverse audiences.
• Background in maintaining or supporting websites, learning management systems, or similar digital assets.
• Willingness to provide and incorporate ongoing feedback and revisions.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating in virtual settings.
• Skill in setting objectives and goals, alongside generating innovative ideas and solutions to challenges.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for document and presentation creation.
• Fundamental understanding of accessibility principles.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and aptitude for managing diverse tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Experience providing technical support through Zoom, Teams, or other virtual platforms and managing technical aspects of webinars is preferred.
• Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a role similar to the essential duties and responsibilities outlined.
