This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more states.
• Enhance LSM’s established online fundraising initiatives by discovering opportunities to broaden reach, elevate donor engagement, and boost sustainable revenue.
• Design and oversee a comprehensive online fundraising strategy that encompasses annual appeals, rapid-response campaigns, monthly donations, donor acquisition, and various digital initiatives.
• Develop and maintain an annual online solicitation calendar detailing target audiences, messaging, channels, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
• Conceive campaign ideas and craft donor-oriented content for emails, online donation pages, social media, digital advertisements, and additional channels.
• Strengthen segmented donor journeys from initial engagement to first gift, repeat donations, monthly contributions, increased giving, and long-term commitment.
• Monitor and evaluate conversion rates, average gift amounts, acquisition costs, donor retention, recurring contributions, email effectiveness, and overall campaign revenue.
• Lead the testing and optimization of subject lines, messaging, creative content, segmentation, donation forms, landing pages, timing, and calls to action.
• Identify and assess fundraising trends, platforms, AI tools, payment technologies, and other innovations.
• Collaborate with Development, Communications, Programs, and Technology teams on integrated campaigns that reflect LSM’s global mission, Catholic identity, and branding.
• Enhance the online donor experience through acknowledgments, impact communications, personalized stewardship, and ongoing engagement opportunities.
• Operate under the guidance of the Senior Development Director.
• Embraces and exemplifies LSM values and the principles of the Laudato Si’ paradigm.
• Comfortable working in a faith-based environment and providing support.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in digital fundraising, online giving, nonprofit marketing, donor communications, or a closely related area.
• Proven track record of managing fundraising campaigns effectively.
• Demonstrated success in developing or enhancing creative digital campaigns with measurable engagement, donor growth, or revenue increases.
• Strong understanding of digital fundraising best practices, including donor acquisition, segmentation, conversion, monthly giving, retention, stewardship, and campaign optimization.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing campaign data to inform decisions, test concepts, and enhance outcomes.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms, donor databases or CRMs, online donation systems, content management systems, analytics tools, and social media platforms.
• An entrepreneurial and experimental mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability.
• Awareness of emerging digital trends, technologies, platforms, and AI tools pertinent to fundraising and donor engagement.
• Ability to independently manage multiple campaigns, maintain a detailed production calendar, meet deadlines, and coordinate across departments and time zones.
• Strong collaborative instincts, with the ability to balance creative ambition with LSM’s mission, Catholic identity, global audience, and organizational priorities.
• Experience with Opus Clip and Cap Cut is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma.
• Familiarity with DonorBox.
• Experience overseeing international or multilingual digital fundraising campaigns.
• Proven success in strengthening or expanding a monthly giving program.
• Familiarity with fundraising for climate, environmental, faith-based, advocacy, or global movement-building organizations.
• Experience in digital advertising, peer-to-peer fundraising, marketing automation, conversion-rate optimization, or emerging fundraising technologies.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Spanish, and Italian is beneficial.
