This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategy, governance, and daily operations of the global digital asset management system.
• Design and manage both the front-end and back-end of the digital asset management platform.
• Organize, facilitate discovery, and safeguard creative assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Streamline processes, enhance user workflows, and maintain governance and metadata standards.
• Develop and sustain the digital asset management strategy, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Manage system developers, external vendors, implementation partners, updates, customizations, migrations, and integrations.
• Drive the system roadmap, define requirements, conduct testing, oversee releases, and implement AI tools.
• Provide training and technical assistance to both internal and external users.
• Oversee rights, risk, compliance workflows, contracts, and licensing agreements in collaboration with the Office of General Counsel.
• Supervise metadata tagging, conduct metadata audits, ensure brand alignment, and manage asset legal clearance.
• Manage the Digital Asset Specialist and oversee asset categorization, captioning, crediting, research, stock purchases, and access to external libraries and press portals.
• Enhance user experience, set and report on system KPIs, conduct audits, and analyze usage metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Creative, Digital Marketing, Communications, IT, and OGC.
• Ensure that interfaces and processes fulfill accessibility standards.
• Distribute imagery to press portals, marketing channels, media, and other external entities.
• Execute additional assigned responsibilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in library and information science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a Digital Asset Manager role or a similar position.
• 3–5 years of experience in people management.
• 3–5 years of experience managing an enterprise digital asset management system vendor relationship independently.
• Familiarity with Aprimo or another enterprise digital asset management system.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise digital asset management systems, covering both front-end and back-end administration.
• Proficiency in JSON and a basic understanding of Markdown or HTML.
• Expertise in taxonomy, metadata, rights management, and copyright.
• Understanding of brand standards and brand management practices.
• Experience overseeing large, complex projects or processes with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with AI trends and content authenticity metadata.
• Knowledge of integration trade-offs, data model design, risk management, change management, and stakeholder negotiation.
• Understanding of creative operations, workflow management, and workflow design.
• Expert knowledge of current digital asset management trends.
• Experience working in a Macintosh environment with strong technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn new tools and workflows, including AI-assisted search and tagging features.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Capacity to multitask and adapt to varying workloads and assignments.
