Associate Creative Director, Copy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create and implement engaging creative concepts alongside an art partner, Creative Director, and other team members.

• Take ownership of the brand's voice and narrative for both internal and external audiences.

• Lead and assist in the development of concepts and copy across a range of projects with varying complexity and scope.

• Manage multiple tasks and delegate effectively to ensure seamless project execution.

• Generate innovative ideas that further the brand's objectives.

• Act as a liaison between senior creatives and cross-functional team members.

• Deliver work that aligns with strategic, business, and creative expectations.

• Present and advocate for work externally while building strong client relationships.

• Offer career development guidance, mentorship, and support to the copy team.

• Engage in new business initiatives as a conceptor and writer of successful pitch ideas.

• Exhibit inclusive behaviors and proactively address bias.

• Carry out all other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education along with professional experience is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of writing experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.

• Proficiency in writing for both HCP and DTC audiences.

• Experience in rare diseases is a valuable asset.

• Agency of Record (AOR) experience is preferred.

• Strong presentation skills are essential.

• Capability to multitask and delegate tasks appropriately.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior creative and cross-functional team members.
