This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation and delivery of outstanding creative projects encompassing both art and copy.
• Establish the creative direction for a range of pharmaceutical and wellness clients.
• Define and maintain the creative vision, standards, and methodologies across both art and copy.
• Lead integrated creative strategies and execution across various brands, audiences, channels, and intricate client assignments.
• Mentor Associate Creative Directors and other creative leaders through guidance, coaching, and delegated decision-making.
• Foster a collaborative art-and-copy partnership that produces strategically sound and compelling work.
• Act as the principal creative voice in client discussions, brand planning sessions, concept presentations, and executive meetings.
• Cultivate strong senior client relationships by aligning creative suggestions with brand strategy, audience needs, and business goals.
• Address complex challenges related to strategy, craft, client feedback, regulatory requirements, timelines, staffing, and resources.
• Ensure accountability for the quality, strategic alignment, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of creative outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on briefs, brand strategies, communication plans, and client solutions.
• Support the development of leadership talent through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and delegation.
• Monitor the performance and health of the creative function to enhance quality, efficiency, collaboration, and scalability.
• Keep abreast of trends in healthcare, culture, technology, media, and creativity, translating them into improved work and agency-wide perspectives.
• Report directly to an executive creative leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, design, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 16 years of creative experience, with significant background in a pharmaceutical or healthcare agency setting.
• At least five years of progressive leadership experience, including overseeing multidisciplinary teams and other leaders, with a proven track record in team building, senior talent development, performance management, and resource planning amidst competing priorities.
• A robust foundation in either art or copy, with a proven ability to assess, direct, and enhance both disciplines.
• A portfolio showcasing strategically grounded concepts, integrated campaigns, and high-quality work across various channels and audiences.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value client relationships, brand planning, and creative projects across multiple brands or accounts.
• Strong business acumen, including familiarity with scopes, budgets, staffing, utilization, profitability, and agency growth.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influence, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to harmonize ambitious creative thinking with strategic, regulatory, operational, and commercial considerations.
• Submission of work portfolio is required for subsequent interview stages.
