Diagnostic Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Expand sales for diagnostics product portfolios within the specified territory.

• Propel design-in for both new and repeat business opportunities across various customer segments.

• Act as the primary Cytiva solutions provider for diagnostic application requirements in the assigned region.

• Create and implement strategic territory plans in collaboration with Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners.

• Foster annual account growth and broaden market presence.

• Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasting along with effective CRM pipeline management.

• Meet quarterly and annual operational targets.

• Enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

• Identify and chase new business prospects, including those generated through marketing efforts.

• Lead negotiations on pricing and assist in the development of complex, strategic deals.

• Work together with customer R&D and technical teams, as well as internal R&D, FAS, and Product partners to provide optimal solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, including biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology.

• Over 5 years of commercial experience, ideally within the Life Sciences sector.

• Familiarity with magnetic beads, lateral flow, membrane-based applications, or Next Generation Sequencing.

• Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively across different functions and regions.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce.com.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for delivering technical presentations and training sessions.

• Capability to coordinate, lead, and influence both internal and external teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Experience with QlikSense or CRM systems like Salesforce.com is advantageous.

• A Master’s or Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology is a plus.
