This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Increase sales with healthcare professionals designated within the territory.
• Build customer relationships and act as an ambassador for Abbott’s FreeStyle products.
• Enhance overall market presence while achieving sales and profitability goals.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets and objectives for ADC products.
• Collaborate effectively with Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Stay informed about internal and competitive products, market dynamics, and competitor tactics.
• Strategize and implement territory, account, and call plans with defined goals, actions, timelines, and resources.
• Monitor and report progress against established plans, adjusting efforts as necessary.
• Complete administrative responsibilities and log daily activities in the call reporting/tracking system.
• Ensure accountability for product samples.
• Adhere to quality guidelines while maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Follow relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and carry out other tasks assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 2-4 years of prior experience with a proven sales record, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong communication skills, high energy level, integrity, and a drive to succeed.
• Preferred knowledge of diabetes clinical practices.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
• Capability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
