This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Increase sales with healthcare professionals assigned to your territory.
• Build customer relationships and act as an ambassador for Abbott’s FreeStyle products.
• Enhance Abbott’s overall market presence and improve brand reputation.
• Achieve or surpass sales quotas and objectives for ADC products.
• Partner with Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
• Develop relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Stay updated on internal and competitive products, market trends, and competitor strategies.
• Create and implement short- and long-term territory, account, and call plans.
• Position products and services utilizing appropriate resources and customized sales techniques.
• Address disagreements and objections with diplomacy.
• Monitor and report progress against established plans.
• Complete administrative responsibilities and document daily activities in the call reporting/tracking system.
• Ensure accountability for product samples in accordance with Division guidelines.
• Operate within quality and compliance standards while maintaining quality-system effectiveness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of previous experience with a strong sales record, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• High energy, integrity, and a strong desire to succeed.
• Preference for candidates with over 4 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred knowledge of diabetes clinical practices.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
• Capability for continuous standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle or company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
