DFM Sequencing Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize specialized software to sequence parts, enhancing the efficiency of Press Brake production and workflow.

• Assess incoming orders to ensure they align with production capabilities and company guidelines, making necessary file modifications based on work order specifications.

• Analyze customer specifications to determine the suitable product and service options, while aligning with company goals and objectives.

• Maintain daily communication with customers, Production, and Support teams regarding orders that present manufacturability challenges.

• Collaborate with programming and production teams to minimize production issues and streamline internal processes.

• Deliver clear updates to production teams to guarantee customer requirements are comprehended and fulfilled.

• Execute additional related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with CNC systems and programming software within a sheet metal fabrication environment.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and effectively communicating in English.

• Familiarity with CAD software such as Fusion, SolidWorks, or equivalent programs.

• Ability to convey information clearly and professionally to customers, including simplifying technical details for better understanding.

• Comfortable working remotely across multiple teams in a dynamic production environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to review and interpret technical documents.

• Competent in computer usage and typing skills, with the ability to adapt to proprietary and specialized software.

• Direct experience in sheet metal design, manufacturing, or estimating processes.

• Experience in providing technical feedback directly to customers.

• Background in a high-volume or on-demand manufacturing setting.

• Must establish and maintain a dedicated, safe, confidential, and ergonomic workspace at home.

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods.

• Proficient in using a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment for remote work.

• Experience with production sequencing, scheduling, or workflow software in a manufacturing context.
