DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, develop, and sustain infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt across production, QA, and development environments.

• Create and deploy automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Manage zero-downtime blue/green deployments on AWS ECS Fargate.

• Design, configure, and execute a cross-region disaster recovery strategy.

• Integrate sophisticated observability solutions with CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Model component architecture and estimate costs and licensing over a five-year outlook.

• Ensure service continuity, high availability, security, and financial viability.

• Collaborate with development, architecture, and cybersecurity teams on strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of proven experience in Senior DevOps, SysOps, or Cloud Architecture positions.

• A professional degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (mandatory).

• Expertise in AWS (ECS Fargate, Aurora, CloudWatch, X-Ray), AWS CLI, and Docker.

• Strong practical experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and developing pipelines within GitHub Actions.

• Background in designing and implementing cross-region architectures, disaster recovery plans, and blue/green deployments.

• Knowledge of infrastructure and communication requirements in financial services and banking sectors.

• Capability to make intricate technical decisions and advance infrastructure enhancements independently.

• Operational resilience and analytical judgment to manage critical incidents and ensure platform stability.

• Proficiency in coordinating strategies with development, architecture, and cybersecurity teams.

• Spanish proficiency at B2 level.
