This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a bridge between developers, QA, and operations to align objectives and enhance workflows.
• Provision and upkeep of servers, storage, networking, and cloud resources both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Construct and sustain CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and infrastructure-as-code to minimize manual tasks.
• Incorporate security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create processes for data collection, storage, and utilization within systems.
• Oversee application builds, deployments, and rollbacks.
• Establish logging, alerting, and performance monitoring tools.
• Utilize Datadog, IBM Turbonomic, and Azure Monitoring.
• A minimum of three years of experience in Linux/Unix, scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform), cloud platforms (Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), version control (Git), GitLab build pipelines, networking, and database management.
• Familiarity with YAML, Java, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related fields.
• High-speed internet is required for remote work; Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet.
• Minimum internet speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), or 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).
