DevOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Assess development and operational workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement.

• Formulate and suggest strategies to enhance DevOps processes, foster collaboration, reduce time-to-market, and boost operational effectiveness.

• Investigate and adopt DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies.

• Collaborate with development, operations, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and offer insights on process improvements.

• Facilitate communication across functions and serve as a liaison for stakeholders.

• Manage incoming work requests across multiple DevOps teams when necessary.

• Create and sustain documentation for workflows, standard operating procedures (SOP), and change logs.

• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for tracking DevOps performance metrics.

• Update management and stakeholders on the progress and results of process improvements.

• Spot opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Offer guidance and mentorship on DevOps practices and methodologies.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops focused on DevOps processes and tools.

• Identify process risks and dependencies, proposing strategies for mitigation.

• Proactively resolve issues to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the revenue cycle or SSI product area is preferred.

• Previous experience in software project management is advantageous.

• A combination of relevant experience and advanced education may be considered as a substitute.

• Background checks and drug testing are mandatory.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, are essential.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.

• Capacity to independently identify project issues, determine suitable actions, and escalate when necessary.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.

• Skills in project planning, risk management, time management, and other project management areas.

• Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Experience in conflict resolution.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.

• Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing.

• Ability to collaborate productively in a team setting.

• Capability to see clearly with or without corrective lenses and hear clearly with or without aids.

• Proficient use of hands, fingers, and wrists repetitively with computer keyboards and office equipment.

• Adherence to company policies, data security standards, and ethical guidelines regarding AI/GenAI usage.
