Cloud Engineer 2, Site Reliability Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the operation of production systems to achieve SLA objectives and ensure service availability for customer workloads.

• Drive automation initiatives across Azure, GCP, and data centers utilizing Terraform, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.

• Support the management of the lifecycle for production and Hands-on Lab environments, including deployment, resource management, and troubleshooting.

• Engage in an on-call rotation to investigate and resolve incidents as they arise.

• Diagnose infrastructure and application issues, escalating and collaborating with teams as necessary.

• Collaborate with Product, Platform, and Support teams to enhance service operation and stability.

• Work alongside senior engineers to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in development, operations, or cloud engineering settings.

• 2–4 years of experience in supporting production systems within cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS).

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and services.

• Fundamental understanding of containers and orchestration; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take ownership of assigned tasks.
