Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Perform feasibility assessments for potential hotel management opportunities.

• Engage in bidding or tendering activities, which includes conducting market research and underwriting prospective projects.

• Monitor and analyze pickup trends and occupancy data, offering guidance to management.

• Execute market research and cultivate investment and development leads through connections with developers, financial institutions, independent hotel operators, hotel brokers, hotel consultants, and governmental tourism organizations.

• Track new project pipelines and maintain databases for deals and contacts.

• Create financial forecasts, presentations, proposals, and pitch materials for business development initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including hotel operations and technical services teams, to prepare proposals.

• Formulate and implement business development strategies to expand the business and secure new hotel management contracts.

• Contribute to the company’s strategic growth and business development initiatives.

• Manage deals from initial origination through to contract finalization, reporting to the Director of Development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Preferred experience in the hospitality or real estate sectors.

• Have a minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience in an analyst, associate, or consultancy role within a hospitality or real estate context.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with skills in financial modeling, graph creation, and presentations.

• Demonstrate independent learning abilities, be a team player, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized manner.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong logical reasoning abilities.

• Capable of communicating effectively with various stakeholders.

• Have proficient research skills with the ability to independently gather and analyze economic and local market data.
