Development Architect, Java, GitHub Copilot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and evolve software architectures based on microservices.

• Define functional requirements, integration architectures, data, and components.

• Engage in dialogue with business and functional areas.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary development teams, QA, DevOps, and functional analysis under Agile methodologies.

• Drive the adoption and development of AI tools for software development, particularly GitHub Copilot.

• Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of technological solutions within a constantly evolving digital ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).

• Experience in distributed architectures based on microservices.

• Strong knowledge in messaging with Kafka and eventual consistency.

• Experience in data-oriented architectures and real-time processing (streaming).

• Knowledge of Cloud Native environments and hybrid deployments on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience in functional definition, requirements analysis, and solution design.

• Ability to work directly with business teams and stakeholders.

• Experience in eCommerce or Retail projects will be valued.

• Practical knowledge and experience with GitHub Copilot will be considered a plus.

• Experience with AI tools applied to development, such as Claude Code, will be valued.

• Experience leading technological modernization initiatives and the adoption of new tools will be considered an asset.
