Developer Relations Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to revise and maintain technical API specifications.

• Ensure that documentation is precise, thorough, and user-friendly for developers.

• Create technical documentation for both existing and new payment APIs.

• Develop blog tutorials that highlight sample applications utilizing the APIs.

• Produce educational resources, guides, and walkthroughs.

• Generate video tutorials that illustrate API usage.

• Present sample code and applications in video formats, including YouTube.

• Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, and workshops through technical presentations.

• Advocate for developer clients within internal product and engineering teams.

• Communicate feedback from the developer community to influence product roadmaps.

• Collect and prioritize technical requirements while defining the developer vision.

• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of practical experience in development and API integration.

• 8+ years of experience as an engineer or developer advocate.

• Proven experience in public speaking and/or publishing technical documentation (blogs, tutorials, videos, etc.).

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for promoting developer success and building communities.

• Previous experience in the payments, fintech, or a related industry is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Python, C, C++, SWIFT, and PHP.

• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and NoSQL.

• Experience in an Agile work environment.

• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.
