Developer Relations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create technical blog articles and tutorials for the Arize blog, as well as publish guest content on partner blogs and external publications.

• Develop educational YouTube videos, ranging from brief explainers to comprehensive walkthroughs, along with internal training videos for go-to-market teams.

• Conduct webinars from start to finish, including topic selection, demonstrations, and follow-up materials.

• Design and deliver structured courses on company platforms and through external learning partners.

• Present at conferences and facilitate hands-on workshops, which involve crafting demo applications and exercises.

• Modify research and content to suit various formats and channels.

• Create AI-assisted production systems to enhance content generation.

• Transform community feedback into actionable product insights that influence both open-source and commercial product roadmaps.

• Supply source materials for field marketing, SEO, and answer-engine-focused website content.

• Collaborate with documentation teams to ensure educational and reference content is interconnected appropriately.

• Interact with the developer community at conferences, trade shows, meetups, Slack, and other platforms.

• Work closely with Product teams to prototype exploratory projects for new features and product directions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developer relations, developer education, technical content creation, or an engineering role that produced substantial public material.

• A portfolio showcasing recorded talks, videos, courses, blog posts, or workshops.

• Comfortable on camera and stage, capable of teaching technical concepts live without a script.

• Current engineering skills and the ability to build demo applications.

• Familiarity with LLM-based application development, including agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in your production workflow, or a strong desire to develop that capability.

• Curious and self-driven continuous learner, able to navigate startup uncertainty and rapid iterations.

• Open to regular travel for conferences and occasional evening and weekend events.

• Familiarity with the evaluations and observability landscape, particularly products like Arize (preferred).

• Experience launching a course on a learning platform such as Coursera, DeepLearning.AI, LinkedIn Learning, Maven, or O'Reilly (preferred).

• Skills in video production and editing, or experience in growing a technical YouTube channel (preferred).

• Proven history of having talks accepted at significant industry conferences (preferred).

• Active involvement in technical communities like X, Reddit, Slack, Discord, or Dev.to (preferred).

• Experience managing or contributing to open-source projects such as Arize Phoenix (preferred).
