Developer Relations Engineer – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Primary focus: assist builders in deploying on XION as effortlessly as possible while continuously enhancing the developer experience.

• Serve as the main point of contact for builders deploying on XION, offering proactive support through direct Telegram chats, Discord channels, forums, and community discussions.

• Tackle developer challenges by refining documentation, examples, SDKs, and APIs in collaboration with the engineering team.

• Collect and prioritize feedback from developers for enhancements to the product and engineering teams.

• Represent the needs and concerns of the developer community within the organization.

• Establish and nurture relationships with developers to cultivate a supportive community.

• Keep abreast of trends, tools, and best practices in blockchain and software applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional, proactive communication abilities. Builders are always the priority; ensure no support request goes unacknowledged for more than 15 hours.

• Organizational skills: you will handle numerous requests across various teams and channels. Staying organized is crucial to provide builders with top-notch support. Additionally, repeated requests must be documented, highlighted, and addressed in documentation and improved developer tools to enhance future support.

• Strong foundation in Computer Science through formal education or self-study.

• At least 3 years of experience in developer relations or technical evangelism for consumer APIs, applications, or blockchain projects.

• Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages: Typescript, Go, or Rust.

• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of audiences clearly.

• Experience managing open-source projects and producing high-quality documentation.

• Strong networking and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for supporting developers.

• Proactive and empathetic problem-solving mindset, dedicated to ongoing improvement.
