DevRel – SF Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Participate in developer events, meetups, AI Tinkers, YC gatherings, and conferences throughout San Francisco.

• Foster authentic relationships within the San Francisco developer and founder community.

• Secure speaking opportunities at various events, including presentations and panel discussions.

• Deliver engaging and impactful presentations.

• Organize meetups or talks for Trigger.dev.

• Collaborate on and host joint events such as hackathons with leading technology companies.

• Optionally write blog summaries or create short YouTube videos of presentations.

• Primarily work autonomously in San Francisco.

• Document event activities, talks delivered, and individuals met.

• Assist customers, review pull requests, and raise issues within the open-source community.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation.

• Contribute to code samples, blog posts, videos, and social media updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in San Francisco.

• Must possess a genuine stage presence and charisma.

• Must provide video evidence of speaking, presenting, or performing.

• Should have a developer background and credibility with engineers.

• Must demonstrate high self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

• Should have a genuine belief in Trigger.dev's product.

• Previous experience as a YC founder is a plus.

• Existing connections or a following within the SF/AI developer or founder community is advantageous.

• Experience as an early-stage founder or being at the start of your career with high self-direction is beneficial.

• A proven history of speaking at or organizing developer events is a plus.

• A notable social media presence is beneficial.
