This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain business applications utilizing Microsoft Power Apps.
• Create Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and custom pages.
• Convert wireframes, process diagrams, user stories, and functional requirements into applications.
• Implement principles of usability, accessibility, responsive design, modularity, and maintainability.
• Develop reusable components, templates, formulas, and standard application functions.
• Configure forms, views, business rules, validation logic, and role-based user experiences.
• Engage in application-design reviews and suggest technical solutions.
• Diagnose application performance, usability, and functional issues.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Power Automate cloud flows.
• Automate tasks such as approvals, notifications, document routing, data synchronization, task assignments, and scheduled activities.
• Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems.
• Implement conditions, loops, parallel branches, child flows, approval processes, and scheduled workflows.
• Set up error handling, retry logic, exception management, logging, and operational notifications.
• Identify slow-running or failed flows and execute corrective actions.
• Optimize workflows and create reusable flow components.
• Create and manage Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, views, forms, and business rules.
• Develop solutions using SharePoint lists, Dataverse, SQL Server, Excel, and other authorized data sources.
• Configure standard connectors and assist in creating custom connectors.
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, REST APIs, and other approved third-party applications.
• Work with JSON, REST, OData, HTTP actions, and API authentication methods.
• Support application lifecycle management, including solution packaging, deployments, and version control.
• Troubleshoot production issues and enhance application and workflow performance.
• Prepare technical documentation and engage in code reviews.
• Adhere to security, governance, and development standards within a federal environment.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile development team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of experience in application development.
• At least 3 years of practical Power Platform development experience.
• Proficient in developing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions.
• Familiarity with Power Fx, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar source control and CI/CD tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust or higher security clearance.
• Experience with Power Apps Canvas Apps.
• Experience with Power Apps Model-Driven Apps.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Understanding of Power Platform solutions.
• Knowledge of connection references and environment variables.
• Experience with Power Platform pipelines or similar deployment processes.
• Understanding of Power Platform administration and monitoring fundamentals.
• Proficient in SharePoint Online.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Git-based source-management tools.
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, or API.
• Must be a U.S. Person.
