This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the event strategy, logistics, and on-site execution for conferences, meetups, hackathons, and activations aimed at developers, particularly during significant platform launches.
• Collaborate with Developer Relations to convert regional developer engagement goals into actionable event plans.
• Manage sponsorship obligations and partnerships at both developer and industry-centric events.
• Identify and negotiate with venues and vendors, including booth constructors, audio-visual providers, creative production teams, and hotels.
• Maintain and monitor detailed budgets across various currencies and regions.
• Work alongside Developer Marketing and internal marketing teams on landing pages, email campaigns, and social media strategies.
• Create and oversee event listings on the Xsolla website and registration platforms such as Splash and Luma.
• Collaborate with creative teams to produce event materials, graphics, and branded assets.
• Organize speaking sessions, workshops, and panel engagements.
• Assist with lighthouse integration showcases and technical demonstrations on-site.
• Manage event product demonstrations from start to finish and provide training to attending Xsolla team members with supporting materials.
• Develop pre-event briefings, on-site run-of-show documents, and post-event reports.
• Monitor leads, engagement analytics, and return on investment (ROI) in CRM systems.
• Aid in event research, sponsorship assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Travel internationally as needed to ensure smooth event execution and represent Xsolla at global developer and industry events.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in event management or experiential marketing, preferably within the gaming, technology, or software sectors.
• Familiarity with or a genuine interest in developer relations, developer advocacy, or technical communities.
• A solid understanding of developer communities; coding knowledge is not a prerequisite.
• Demonstrated ability to manage global events while recognizing regional nuances and budget constraints.
• Strong skills in project management and organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• High attention to detail, quality, and brand consistency.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of event registration and marketing platforms such as Splash and Luma.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours to accommodate global time zones.
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include criminal history, employment verification, and education verification.
