Desarrollador Backend, OpenShift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Implement SOAP and RESTful integrations.

• Design asynchronous workflows and messaging mechanisms utilizing SQS and Kafka.

• Apply design patterns, OOP principles, and best development practices.

• Manage persistence and caching with MongoDB and Redis.

• Participate in test automation, code reviews, and quality practices.

• Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

• Monitor, diagnose, and enhance the observability and quality of services.

• Manage technical work using Kanban and Jira.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including deployment and resource management in container environments.

• Proficiency in Java 8 and Java 21.

• Experience with Spring Boot versions 2.7 and 3.

• Expertise in integration through SOAP and RESTful services.

• Experience in developing microservices architectures.

• Knowledge of development patterns applied to microservices and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, including resource management.

• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB and Redis.

• Knowledge and experience with Kafka.

• Experience working with asynchronous processing using SQS and/or Kafka.

• Proficiency in Git, GitLab CI/CD, Gradle, and SonarQube.

• Experience with Spring WebFlux 5.2.6.

• Familiarity with AWS services: S3, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, CloudWatch, and Redis.

• Understanding of TM Forum (TMF) standards.

• Experience in test automation with Karate and JUnit.

• Experience working with agile methodologies, Kanban, and Jira.

• Analytical, autonomous, and quality-oriented profile.

• Ability to comprehend complex integrations, collaboratively solve problems, and develop resilient, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions.
