This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend architectures using Java and Spring Boot.

• Implement efficient RESTful APIs and web services with Spring Web.

• Design and optimize both relational and non-relational databases by integrating Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and/or Spring Data MongoDB.

• Develop microservices utilizing Spring Boot.

• Implement security measures and data protection through Spring Security.

• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate services and APIs developed in Spring Boot.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality within the team.

• Design and implement automated testing strategies using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test.

• Document systems, APIs, and processes with OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Work on the Click to Pay project to integrate a new payment module into a mobile application for a banking sector client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Java LTS (preferably 17+).

• Proficiency in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem: Web, Security, Data, Cloud, Batch.

• Experience with microservices using Spring.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with design patterns: Hexagonal, CQRS, Layered Architecture.

• Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle using Hibernate/JPA.

• Knowledge of non-relational databases: MongoDB, Redis.

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (ECS, EKS, App Service).

• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git.

• Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, RBAC.

• Experience with Apache Kafka and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot Test.

• Proficiency in Maven and/or Gradle.

• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, adaptability, continuous learning, attention to detail, and quality focus.
