Deputy Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of enhancements, operations, and modernization initiatives.

• Lead comprehensive program management activities, including strategic planning, scope management, risk assessment, scheduling, and reporting.

• Coordinate technical workstreams across teams involved in database administration, system engineering, cloud operations, and application support.

• Integrate efforts from various functions concerning system performance, data integrity, modernization projects, and production stability.

• Supervise environment management, release planning, configuration management, and operational readiness evaluations.

• Ensure adherence to client security protocols, data retention policies, change management practices, and audit standards.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, contractors, and government partners to ensure alignment in communication and delivery.

• Oversee incident response processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement across technical areas.

• Provide leadership during architectural discussions that involve both on-premise and cloud components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering Oracle OLTP databases, including performance tuning, schema management, data migration, backup/restore processes, and PL/SQL scripting.

• Practical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration, including patching, file system management, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

• Capability to configure, optimize, secure, and maintain Apache HTTP Server installations.

• Proficient in utilizing AWS services.

• Extensive experience with AWS Elastic Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) for traffic management, scaling, and availability.

• Familiarity with high availability architectures.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Must possess a Public Trust clearance level.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
