This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Curate content for newsletters focused on various commercial real estate topics and property types.

• Identify and highlight the most significant stories from the media for Bisnow's audience.

• Author national news articles concerning commercial real estate, with an emphasis on breaking news.

• Monitor key trends, influential players, and significant transactions within the U.S. and UK commercial real estate sectors.

• Collaborate with global news teams on major initiatives and national series.

• Contribute knowledge of commercial real estate topics and share previous work with the newsroom.

• Master and adhere to the editorial processes established by Bisnow.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships in a dynamic, high-pressure editorial setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional news judgment.

• Strong writing abilities.

• Highly organized and oriented towards meeting deadlines.

• Experience in digital news.

• Ideally, a minimum of two years in business journalism.

• Proficiency in utilizing social media to generate story ideas and comprehend audience interests.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Familiarity with commercial real estate, urban planning, and urban design is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Capability to work 40–50 hours per week, including core hours from M–F 9:00–5:00, Tuesday and Thursday evening shifts, and two Sunday evening shifts each month.
