This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic and operational guidance for the academic department.
• Direct faculty, programs, and initiatives towards achieving excellence.
• Oversee faculty workload planning, scheduling, performance, development, and success initiatives.
• Define the department's vision and cultivate a shared understanding of faculty success.
• Work alongside faculty and administrative teams on scheduling, contracts, faculty issues, and development.
• Instruct asynchronous undergraduate and graduate courses for adult learners.
• Lead the development and enhancement of programs, courses, course materials, and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Supervise and mentor associate faculty members.
• Evaluate and support the instructional quality of associate faculty.
• Promote curriculum success initiatives and align with divisional strategic plans.
• Participate in department, college, and university meetings, engaging in shared governance and committees.
• Chair search and hiring committees and make decisions regarding departmental hiring.
• Develop and track the departmental budget in collaboration with college leadership.
• Manage program review, accreditation, and licensure efforts.
• Implement initiatives that enhance student learning, retention, completion, and overall value.
• Coordinate comprehensive student support initiatives with academic and student support teams.
• Organize and report on initiatives related to students’ connection to the university.
• Deliver engaging, high-quality online instruction.
• Link learning to workforce skills and professional growth.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for adult learners.
• Emphasize student learning, achievement, and timely feedback.
• Maintain open communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Ensure academic integrity and adhere to university policies.
• Collaborate with academic support teams to improve the student experience.
• Earned doctorate degree in a field relevant to the academic program.
• Proven experience in academic leadership, including faculty development, curriculum management, or departmental operations.
• Background in contributing to or leading strategic planning and implementation within academic programs.
• Evidence of sufficient training, in-depth knowledge in a specific specialty, and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and service.
• Familiarity with best practices in teaching and learning, encompassing curriculum development and assessment strategies, particularly in virtual settings.
• A collaborative and student-focused approach to leadership and instructional support.
• Demonstrated capability to lead programmatic initiatives, mentor faculty, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of scaling innovative teaching practices and supporting holistic student development in online learning environments.

• Global Campus Associate Professor position requires a terminal degree and 4 years of full-time college teaching experience.
• Global Campus Professor position requires a terminal degree and 8 years of full-time college teaching experience.
