Dental Medical Receptionist – Dental Practice Proficiency Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from patients

• Arrange, modify, and confirm dental appointments

• Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures

• Validate patient information and assess dental insurance eligibility

• Provide assistance with insurance benefits, copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances

• Process payments and follow up on any overdue balances

• Organize appointment reminders and patient follow-ups

• Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records and documentation

• Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, hygienists, and other dental personnel

• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

• Assist with general administrative tasks and front-desk operations

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a receptionist, front desk coordinator, or administrative professional in a dental practice within the U.S.

• Comprehensive understanding of dental office workflows, scheduling, and terminology

• Proven experience in dental insurance verification

• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities

• Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask effectively

• Proficiency in computer usage and dental practice management systems

• Capacity to work independently in a fully remote setting

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations or certification is advantageous

• Familiarity with dental insurance verification and claims processes

• Experience with dental practice management systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, or equivalent platforms

• Prior experience working remotely in a dental environment is a prerequisite

• Ability to work according to U.S. Eastern, Central, or Pacific Time
