Dental Billing Specialist – ENG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Supervise the complete billing process, from the submission of claims to the final reimbursement.

• Monitor and handle unpaid invoices, follow up on pending claims, and address collection challenges.

• Examine denied claims, pinpoint errors or necessary corrections, and resubmit claims with the correct adjustments.

• Oversee the tasks related to claim resubmission and corrections, ensuring accuracy and implementing changes to prevent delays in reimbursement.

• Record billing activities in accordance with regulatory standards and compliance mandates, including HIPAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in medical billing specifically within the dental practice sector.

• Knowledge of claim denial management and collection procedures.

• Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with dental billing software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Denticon, etc.).

• Excellent customer service skills paired with critical thinking abilities.

• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the significance of maintaining patient data confidentiality.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Availability to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• Internet: Minimum speed of 25 Mbps or higher, with a dependable backup connection available for power outages or service provider issues.

• Processor: Intel Core i5 7th Generation or newer (or equivalent).

• Memory: 8 GB RAM.

• Storage: 256 GB SSD or HDD with at least 50% free space available.

• Webcam: 720p resolution or higher.

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later (or equivalent).
