Dental Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Supervise the complete billing cycle from the submission of claims to the final reimbursement process.

• Monitor and manage unpaid invoices, follow up on pending claims, and resolve collection challenges.

• Investigate denied claims, pinpoint errors or necessary corrections, and resubmit claims with the appropriate amendments.

• Handle backend tasks related to claim resubmission, ensure accuracy, and implement corrections to prevent delays in reimbursement.

• Record billing activities in accordance with regulatory standards and compliance requirements, including HIPAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in medical billing specifically within the dental practice sector.

• Proficient in dental billing software (such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Denticon, etc.).

• Familiarity with claim denial management and collections procedures.

• Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.

• Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the significance of maintaining patient data confidentiality.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work with minimal supervision.

• Availability to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps or higher, with a dependable backup connection to manage power outages or service disruptions.

• Processor requirement: Intel Core i5 7th Generation or higher (or equivalent).

• Memory requirement: 8 GB RAM.

• Storage requirement: 256 GB SSD or HDD with at least 50% free space available.

• Webcam requirement: 720p resolution or higher.

• Operating System requirement: Windows 10 or later (or equivalent).

• Audio equipment requirement: Noise-canceling earphones or headset.
