This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain a pipeline of experiments across various channels, including paid social, newsletters, community platforms, email, digital events, conference sponsorships, and more.
• Design each test with a well-defined hypothesis, clear success metrics, and a realistic timeline for learning outcomes.
• Identify and assess new channel opportunities—from niche SMB technology newsletters to retargeting initiatives for closed-lost accounts—and build a compelling case for future investments.
• Maintain close engagement with Metabase's target audiences (data teams, developers, technical buyers) to generate creative strategies for reaching them effectively.
• Oversee end-to-end campaign execution: briefing copy and creative, coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely launches.
• Execute programs across a diverse array of formats—including newsletter sponsorships, Reddit and Meta ad campaigns, retargeting, closed-lost re-engagement, digital events like demo weeks, and conference sponsorships.
• Collaborate closely with the PMM and content teams to ensure messaging is precise, on-brand, and tailored to the specific channel and audience.
• Manage budgets and distribute spending across the portfolio based on performance metrics and learning objectives.
• Establish KPIs for each program prior to launch and hold yourself accountable to achieving them.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into campaign performance for stakeholders across marketing and sales.
• Distill results into clear, actionable insights: what succeeded, what failed, what steps to take next, and what initiatives to discontinue.
• Create a growing library of insights that enhances the intelligence of each subsequent test.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns within a B2B SaaS context, with clear accountability for performance outcomes.
• A structured and experimental approach: you define success metrics upfront and know how to isolate variables for accurate results.
• Practical experience with paid channels (Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, or similar), email marketing platforms, and campaign analytics tools.
• Strong project management abilities: you can coordinate copy, creative, approvals, and launch logistics across multiple programs without missing critical details.
• Comfort with ambiguity: many of the channels you'll explore may lack established playbooks, and you'll be required to create them.
• Excellent written communication skills—not only for briefing creative but also for synthesizing and disseminating findings.
• Bonus: experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, data engineers, analysts).
• Bonus: familiarity with the landscape of data and analytics tools.
