This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Create and oversee detailed demand forecasts.
• Work collaboratively with commercial, operations, and finance teams to enhance inventory management and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Lead demand review meetings.
• Examine market trends and offer insights to enhance forecast precision.
• Assist in the introduction of new products and the management of the product portfolio.
• Facilitate sales and operations planning (S&OP) activities.
• Execute initiatives for improvement.
• Build and sustain robust relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Leverage advanced analytics and planning tools to aid in strategic decision-making.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• APICS certification or a similar qualification is advantageous.
• Advanced degree with 3 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in analyzing customer demand trends and market patterns to create precise forecasts.
• Familiarity with S&OP processes and demand planning systems such as Demantra, IBP, or Forecast Pro.
• Experience with new product launches and product lifecycle management is preferred.
• High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and statistical modeling abilities with a track record of improving forecast accuracy.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence decision-making.
• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
• Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices in supply chain management.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization.
• A demonstrated problem-solving attitude and a focus on continuous improvement.
