Deltek VantagePoint Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and support integrations between Deltek Vantagepoint and both internal and external systems.

• Analyze business processes to identify areas for enhancing automation, data quality, and operational efficiency.

• Configure and maintain data interfaces utilizing APIs, web services, ETL tools, middleware platforms, and file-based integrations.

• Create integration specifications, data mapping documents, technical designs, and support documentation.

• Collaborate with teams in Finance, Human Resources, Project Controls, Business Development, and IT to gather and refine requirements.

• Troubleshoot integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and execute corrective actions.

• Provide support for Deltek Vantagepoint upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new modules.

• Monitor integration performance, ensure data integrity, and assess system health.

• Coordinate unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.

• Work with vendors and technical teams to resolve system and interface challenges.

• Uphold security, compliance, and governance standards for integrations and data exchanges.

• Offer end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting enterprise applications and systems integrations.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision.

• Experience in designing and supporting API, web service, ETL, and middleware integrations.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.

• Familiarity with XML, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP services, and data transformation tools.

• Capability to analyze complex business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience in Deltek Vantagepoint implementation or integration within government contracting, engineering, architecture, consulting, or professional services.

• Preferred: Experience integrating Deltek Vantagepoint with Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI, and data warehouse platforms.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure Integration Services, Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or other similar middleware technologies.

• Preferred: Knowledge of project accounting, resource management, CRM, and financial management processes.

• Preferred: Experience with Agile project methodologies.
