Delivery Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of onboarding and ensuring data integrity for strategic and high-value clients.

• Improve the quality of customer data and the overall integration of the technology stack.

• Collaborate with pre-sales teams and consult with prospects and clients to establish business objectives and metrics.

• Work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams on technical onboarding and optimizing Mixpanel deployment.

• Provide technical services, including consultations on data architecture, adoption strategies, and change management.

• Develop scalable data governance practices to enhance data trust through data optimization and re-implementation initiatives.

• Execute project deliverables while managing timelines, preventing scope creep, and addressing unforeseen challenges.

• Partner with technical and solutions collaborators on data optimization and onboarding initiatives.

• Lead internal collaborations with Mixpanel product and engineering teams to prioritize tasks driven by client needs.

• Create AI automations to assist customers in managing data at scale.

• Advise customers on integrating agentic workflows with Mixpanel data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in data querying, modeling, and transformation using at least one core tool such as SQL, dbt, Python, Business Intelligence tools, or Product Analytics tools.

• Knowledgeable about databases and cloud data warehouses like Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, and Microsoft Azure.

• Familiar with product analytics implementation techniques, including SDKs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Event Streaming, and Reverse ETL.

• Understand analytics best practices across various business segments and industries.

• Capable of managing complex projects with diverse client stakeholders across different teams and departments while maintaining scope and timelines.

• Experience in incorporating AI into workflows.

• Familiarity with MCP servers, skill development, and contextual setting.

• Ability to consult with clients regarding AI and data strategy.

• Background in customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting, or technical project management.

• Exceptional written, analytical, and communication skills.

• Strong discipline in process and/or project delivery.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing customer requirements.
