Delivery Director – NOAM

📋 Description

• Oversee delivery operations in North America for project-based engagements and managed services.

• Develop scalable delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and operational standards across teams.

• Ensure that staffing, capacity planning, and resource allocation effectively meet customer needs and support business expansion.

• Promote consistent performance in terms of quality, timelines, utilization, and delivery results.

• Guarantee high-quality outputs and a uniform customer experience throughout all engagements.

• Track delivery health, solution quality, customer satisfaction, risks, and escalation processes.

• Provide executive oversight for complex, strategic, or potentially at-risk engagements.

• Transform customer feedback and insights into ongoing delivery enhancements.

• Mentor and develop Associate Consultants, Consultants, and Managers within Delivery and Managed Services.

• Establish performance, accountability, collaboration, and professional development expectations.

• Guide Managers, enhance leadership skills, and formulate succession plans.

• Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

• Monitor utilization, capacity, quality, customer satisfaction, revenue, and margin metrics.

• Utilize data and operational insights to pinpoint risks, capability gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and standardized delivery practices.

• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities responsibly across project delivery, managed services, and solution implementation.

• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consulting, Engagement Management, Finance, and HR teams.

• Ensure a smooth transition from sales and scoping through to delivery and ongoing services.

• Work with regional and global leaders to align standards and disseminate best practices.

• Identify avenues to enhance customer value and promote sustainable growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in professional services, technology consulting, or managed services, overseeing multi-level delivery teams.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale project-based delivery and managed services operations.

• Strong proficiency in delivery operations, resource and capacity management, utilization, governance, forecasting, and performance management.

• Solid commercial and business acumen, managing delivery aligned with revenue, margin, utilization, and customer goals.

• Proven capability to develop Managers and cultivate high-performing teams.

• Experience managing intricate client engagements, executive stakeholders, and escalations.

• Ability to drive operational transformation and continuous improvement through AI, automation, data, and standardized delivery methods.

• Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem, enterprise service management, Agile methodologies, or technology transformation is advantageous.

• Strong leadership qualities.

• Excellent business and commercial awareness.

• Robust operational mindset.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior executives and in complex client situations.

• Capability to lead change and foster continuous improvement within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative and practical approach with an interest in AI and automation.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
