Delivery Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the successful delivery of an assigned portfolio of projects, ensuring excellence in project management.

• Serve as the initial point of escalation for delivery-related issues; collaborate with project managers to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

• Provide weekly updates on portfolio status to practice leadership.

• Demonstrate project leadership, business acumen, and analytical capabilities.

• Coach and mentor consultants throughout the duration of projects.

• Assist in the development of project deliverables as necessary.

• Define and manage stage-gate reviews to ensure compliance with standards.

• Adopt and comply with standardized development lifecycle methodologies across Centers of Excellence.

• Build trusted-advisor relationships with client project stakeholders.

• Provide vision and future product roadmaps.

• Work closely with customers and internal technology and product teams to identify issues and communicate effectively.

• Report to the Delivery Lead while managing a team of project managers, with secondary responsibilities to the solution team.

• Act as both the internal and external representative for Salesforce delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in leading enterprise-wide transformation programs.

• 5+ years of preferred consulting experience.

• Proven experience implementing various Small, Medium, and Enterprise scale Salesforce solutions.

• Multiple Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Consultant, Developer, Architect).

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including direct responsibility for managing project managers, technical and non-technical resources, budgets, and schedules.

• Proven Project/Program management skills with teams of differing sizes.

• A history of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to balance business and technical requirements to develop project plans and estimates.

• Extensive external consulting experience, including CRM consulting, and hands-on experience with Salesforce.

• Ability to manage and mentor business resources effectively.

• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.

• Skill in multitasking and performing well under pressure.

• PMP Certification is highly preferred.

• University degree or college diploma in Business Administration and/or Project Management (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

• Practical experience with one or more CRM software products, such as Salesforce, Siebel, Oracle, Clarify, Vantive, PeopleSoft, or NetSuite.

• Familiarity with Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.

• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and influencing senior executives.

• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members, problem-solve, and manage conflicts.

• Client-centric mindset with a focus on meeting clients’ needs and goals.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to research or develop methods to engage people and drive change.
