This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for a varied range of security-cleared positions.
• Identify, assess, engage, and secure candidates across numerous cleared sectors and locations.
• Take ownership of the entire process from initial outreach to qualification, interview coordination, and offer stages.
• Create structured recruiting workflows for challenging-to-fill and location-restricted roles.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
• Develop and maintain pipelines of security-cleared professionals.
• Recruit federal civilians, military officers, veterans, enlisted and NCO personnel, as well as professionals with previous U.S. government experience.
• Utilize ClearanceJobs, ClearedJobs.net, and other relevant cleared-talent sources.
• Leverage networks such as SkillBridge, TAP, and Hiring Our Heroes.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with candidates within specialized defense and federal talent communities.
• Screen candidates for clearance levels, current status, eligibility, and pertinent requirements.
• Coordinate formal verification processes with Facility Security Officers and customer security teams.
• Interpret military occupational backgrounds, including MOS, rate, rank, and service history.
• Convert military experience into civilian and government contracting role requirements.
• Engage transitioning service members and veterans to assist them in aligning operational experience with relevant opportunities.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role requirements and candidate profiles.
• Determine recruiting timelines based on clearance, geography, and market conditions.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on the availability of cleared talent and sourcing strategies.
• Maintain communication throughout ongoing searches.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and pipeline performance.
• 5–8 years of comprehensive recruiting experience.
• Extensive experience in recruiting cleared, defense, federal, or GovCon talent.
• Proven track record in sourcing and placing security-cleared professionals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. security clearance levels and processes.
• Familiarity with Secret, TS, TS/SCI, polygraph requirements, as well as reciprocity and reactivation considerations.
• Experience collaborating with FSOs or customer security offices.
• Proficient understanding of military and veteran backgrounds, including MOS and rate interpretation.
• Advanced skills in sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in building pipelines for challenging-to-fill or geographically constrained positions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organized, metrics-driven, and comfortable managing multiple requisitions.
• U.S.-based recruiting professional.
• Experience in recruiting maritime, Navy, drone/UAS, combat-operator, or similarly specialized defense talent is a plus.
• Background as a military recruiter, FSO, or veteran is advantageous.
• Familiarity with contingent, project-based, or RPO staffing models in the defense or federal sector is beneficial.
