This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Handle incoming calls from cardholders and external partners.
• Deliver precise information and outstanding service.
• Attend to customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Accurately input settlement agreements into internal systems while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and manage related documentation utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Process incoming files, ensuring appropriate handling and documentation.
• Monitor and address inquiries in a shared email inbox.
• Conduct accurate data entry.
• Keep detailed and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to address customer inquiries.
• Meet or surpass performance metrics related to call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer service or call center setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong customer service focus with an emphasis on providing high-quality support.
• Proficient in identifying, resolving, and escalating complex issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Background in financial services or collections is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in a call center environment, managing high volumes of inbound and outbound interactions, troubleshooting customer concerns, and maintaining performance metrics.
• Typically three to five years of clerical and customer service experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of products, services, terminology, procedures, and systems relevant to the assigned area.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while delivering high-level customer service.
• Proficient computer navigation skills using various software applications, including Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as workplace conduct and safety policies.
