This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Establish and nurture high-level relationships across the entire dealership.
• Gain insight into dealer partners’ objectives, challenges, market dynamics, competitors, and trends in the automotive industry.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through coaching, training, and consultation.
• Implement processes and collaborate with executive management, floor management, and dealership departments regarding optimal software utilization.
• Oversee daily dealer relationships.
• Promote the adoption and continuous use of the company's product within dealerships.
• Plan and execute product launches, managing implementation effectively.
• Provide initial and ongoing training to dealers and the regional team during regular monthly performance visits.
• Act as the primary point of contact for dealership concerns and follow up on any escalated issues.
• Introduce product best practices into client organizations and support the company’s value proposition.
• Communicate and implement product updates, new features, and releases promptly.
• Cover a designated geographical area as part of a larger team, reporting to a Director of Dealer Relations.
• Manage and retain over 20 accounts.
• Reside within the Chicago market.
• Possess practical experience and a thorough understanding of daily operations in an automotive dealership.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the specified territory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software platform functionality, associated services, and technical aspects.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Have 3–5 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, or customer service within a luxury automotive retail context.
• Significant experience with CRM tools and a comfort level with technology.
• Quick thinking and the ability to manage ambiguity effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and foster meaningful client relationships.
• Effective negotiation capabilities.
• Proficient in soliciting feedback, asking clarifying questions, and resolving issues in a non-confrontational manner.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a larger team.
• Skilled in scheduling and prioritizing tasks.
• Capacity to evaluate performance and adjust work strategies to achieve improved results.
• Willingness to travel 80%–100% within the region and nationally as required.
