Dealer Field Support Specialist – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Sales Training Manager and National Account Manager to enhance retail business through targeted training and merchandising initiatives.

• Travel to provide assistance to National Accounts Storefronts within the designated territory.

• Educate and train dealer and retail sales associates on Yamaha products, technology, and branding through in-store visits and phone calls.

• Maintain a prominent presence in National Account stores via regular account visits.

• Communicate feedback to the Sales Training Manager regarding store requirements, including low stock levels, layout changes, damaged displays, and competitor insights.

• Offer support for trade shows as requested by the Sales Training Manager and/or Marketing departments.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma is required.

• Prior retail or operations experience at Guitar Center is essential.

• Proficient in Music Technology.

• Strong passion for fostering relationships with store associates and managers.

• Confident public speaker with excellent presentation capabilities.

• Availability for part-time work is necessary.

• Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Reliable transportation is a must.

• A mobile device with data access is required for submitting store reports.

• Advanced computer proficiency is necessary.
