This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the financial, commercial, and competitive strategies for GE Vernova’s most critical, intricate, and transformative initiatives within the Grid Software sector.
• Formulate, negotiate, and finalize new business opportunities.
• Consolidate competitive intelligence, client requirements, internal cost estimates, commercial model structures, pricing strategies, and negotiation tactics.
• Assist teams in crafting competitive and persuasive business cases for clients and GE Vernova.
• Create and implement competitive pricing strategies.
• Optimize margins, reduce risks, and convey the unique value of GE Vernova’s offerings.
• Enhance deal quality, expedite complex transactions, and propagate best practices throughout the organization.
• Develop, evaluate, and refine offer designs, pricing strategies, and commercial approaches.
• Evaluate proposed pricing against market benchmarks, client value drivers, and probable competitor positions.
• Utilize competitive intelligence and market insights to challenge solution designs and reinforce differentiation.
• Design commercial frameworks that align with client value drivers and GE Vernova’s risk profile.
• Propel opportunities through the governance framework by translating complex commercial, financial, and risk factors into decision-making narratives for executive stakeholders.
• Contribute to financial and commercial materials for client engagement.
• Assist in preparation for negotiations.
• Collaborate with account teams early in the deal process to shape strategy, messaging, and commercial tactics.
• Guide opportunities from initial discovery to closure.
• Mentor sellers on value-based positioning, articulating ROI, engaging executives, negotiation techniques, and trade-offs.
• Advise the Commercial Operations Director, the Americas General Manager, and the broader pursuit team.
• Engage stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, enhance win probabilities, and foster profitable growth.
• At least 12 years of experience in professional services or commercial and contract management.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, budgeting, and relevant metrics.
• Demonstrated success in designing, modeling, and structuring deals utilizing various pricing strategies and commercial frameworks in consulting and managed services.
• Strong skills in pursuit management, relationship management, executive presence, and influence.
• Capability to function effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and complex pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools as collaborative partners to enhance research, analysis, financial and commercial reasoning, and decision support.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from a university.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
