Database Upgrade Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide Database Upgrade services to clients transitioning to cloud environments.

• Participate in the enhancement of tools aimed at automating the upgrade procedure.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

• Champion and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

• Acquire expertise in your designated Guidewire product and achieve the necessary Guidewire certification as a subject matter expert within the established timeframe.

• Cultivate a culture centered around curiosity, innovation, and the responsible application of AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of practical experience in Object-Oriented programming (preferably in Java).

• Proficient with relational databases, including data modeling and SQL.

• Experience in web UI design and development.

• Knowledge of XML.

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and LLMs is a plus, though not mandatory.

• Excellent consulting skills, including effective problem-solving, communication with clients, and knowledge sharing.
